Audiovisual service allowing users to choose a film from a catalogue and to view the film independently of a programme schedule. Such a service may be provided through various kinds of platform: internet, cable, satellite, digital terrestrial television, mobile phones. When counting VOD services, the number of services should be counted, not the number of distribution platforms. However, a service of the same brand accessible on different platforms should be counted as only one service.
