Statistical procedure used to determine replacement values to missing, invalid or inconsistent data. Examples of frequently used imputation methods are: hot deck, cold deck, listwise and pairwise deletion, mean imputation, regression imputation, last observation carried forward, stochastic imputation and multiple imputations.
